Hello, I was having some trouble entering credentials in various ways on a particular website, so I decided to try dragging the credentials from the 1Password main application window into the fields...

Would someone be able to confirm that they have the same issue as I do? Simply drag a username from the application window drop it on the desktop. Does the window disappear and not return?

I have discovered one workaround. The application assigns keyboard shortcuts to collections, in alphabetical order. Any of those keyboard shortcuts brings the window back.
Could someone confirm they see this bug please? I will write support directly if I don't get that confirmation, since there could be something wrong with my installation that I should address.

Hi Baz,
I've tried replicating this on my end but am not seeing the same behaviour. On my end, the 1Password application is minimized, but the app is still running. To confirm, are you seeing the app fully close and disappear from your Dock?

Hi Trevor_1P ,
I believe you are seeing the same behavior. You're seeing that after dragging from the window, the window disappears. I didn't mean to suggest that the application exits.
The application window is not minimized; a minimized window appears on the right side of the dock. Also, the application is not hidden; a hidden application can be restored by using command tab to switch to the application (which doesn't work). The application seems to be left in some strange state where it's choosing not to render a window at all. Only a trick will get the window back - selecting a collection or (as I see now) clicking on the dock icon.
You might be suggesting that you expected the window to disappear and stay gone after dragging from it. How do you expect users to easily get the window to display again? A user would typically want to return to the window to drag the password (after first dragging the user id.
