Hello dougmeyer! 👋
The original poster wrote that they have a vault called "Imported default" which is the result of a migration from an older version of 1Password. In this specific case, it's better to work with the team over email since they can see account information and request a diagnostics report to verify if you still have an older standalone vault somewhere on your device and help you finish the migration safely.
I'm sorry that you're also seeing duplicates on your Mac, I've split your comment into a new thread so that we can discuss your situation separately.
1Password 8 includes a duplicate finder through Watchtower, try these steps:
- Open and unlock the 1Password for Mac desktop app.
- Click on Watchtower in the sidebar.
- Click on Show Items under Items with duplicates.
The duplicates remover tool will only look for items that are exactly the same and that are located in the same vault. You can read more here: Use Watchtower to find account details you need to change
If that doesn't work then can you tell me a little more about the items that you're seeing? Are they perfect duplicates of each other? Or do they have slight differences? Are they located in different vaults?
I look forward to hearing from you. 🙂

Yes, by all means be sure you take the dialogue and solution off the community platform. It would be terrible if someone (like me) looking to solve this exact problem should find the topic already addressed and articulated. 🤬
