Edge (Chrome) Extension - very slow (unable) to initialize

I frequently use the browser extension, and now shifted to using the v8 early access desktop, as well as browser beta extension.
however, often times it fails me, taking up to 30-40 seconds until I am able to enter my master password, only showing a "Loading" indicator until ready. Sometimes even does not ever leave the loading state. For now I have switched back to the release extension and v7 desktop, but I thought I should share this.

1Password Version: 8
Extension Version: 2.0.5 (Beta)
OS Version: macOS 11.5.2

    Hi @mxe,

    Thanks so much for the message and testing out 1Password 8. I'm sorry you have had trouble with the 1Password in your browser taking so long to load.

    Do you happen to remember if you had set 1Password 8 to always be in your menubar? We have had some reports of this causing issues for some users and I'm wondering if you are running into the same issue.
