eero Plus and 1Password not cooperating

I have eero Plus which contains a subscription to use 1Password Families. The process to set up my 1Password account seems broken. Here (as far as I can tell) is what has happened. 

  1. I have created a trial account in 1Password
  2. In the eero App on my phone it says ACTIVE - 1Password family plan
  3. When I click on the link that says Link your other 1Password account and then provide the login credentials for the trial account it says "We are unable to link your account.  Looks like your 1Password account is already connected with a different billing provider. You'll need to contact that provider firstand let them know you are switching."
  4. When I click on the link button that says "Manage account at 1Password" and then present the same login credentials I get logged in to what seems to be the trial account that I created. I am able to make changes there.  Among other things under the Billing tab it says You're on the Families Plan managed by an external partner. you still have [10 days] remaining on your free trial before you will be charged. It also says Payment Methods: Contact your distributor in order to view invoices, make payments, or edit payment methods. 
  5. In neither case does it say who the billing provider is although I suspect that it is the Free Trial which which I think should be administered by 1Password. 
  6. I have contacted 1Password Support about 24 hours ago but they have not replied except to issue an automated email giving a support ticket number that says something friendly like "A human friend will be reaching out to you very soon! "
  7. I'm stumped and getting kinda cranky that something that should be simple is taking so long. Anyone got any suggestions?

    This problem is now resolved, I think. The confusion stems from the message from 1Password which does not say who my provider is leaving me to wonder whether my account will stop working when the trial period ends. I was able to generate a change in my 1Password account that showed up in my eero account by adding a family member and the seeing that the status as far as eero was concerned was updated. There must be a better way for the two companies to handle the initial creation of an account with more clarity.
