Embedded Images Now Only Show Icon

Hello,

I am using the latest version of 1Password on a Windows 11 laptop.  This is a new machine and I installed 1Password and it works fine for filling in passwords.

The problem I am finding is that previously embedded images (passport, etc) would be present in my entries and I could click on them and they would open up.  Now there is only an icon for the image and when I click on the icon it wants to download the image.  I would like to go back to being able to having an actual image and being able to click on it and open it up.

Any suggestions?

    Hi Smokeyham,

I can confirm I'm seeing the same behavior you describe here on 1Password for Windows.

On the Mac version, there is a preview option, but that's not present in the Windows version. Were you previously using the Mac version, by chance?

Thanks for the response.  I was previously using the Windows, not the Mac version.   I am currently travelling but when I get home I will open 1Password on my old computer to see if I can still see the previews on that, and will report back here on that.

Thanks, Smokeyham! When you check on your old computer, it would also be helpful to know which version of 1Password it's running.
