Thanks for the suggestion! While the auto-type feature included with 1Password for Windows will suggest the appropriate login item in Quick Access for certain popular apps, there isn't a way to set it to suggest a specific login for an arbitrary app window with a specific window title.
While I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request with our team on your behalf. They'll look into adding such a feature in the future.

I'd like to suggest adding optional support for the SendEvent method in Auto-Type. This could be presented as a checkbox in the Auto-Type settings — something like “Support for older applications” — which would switch the input method to one compatible with legacy environments.
We use an older terminal emulator (IBM Personal Communications 5250), which still connects to critical systems. It requires physical key simulation to accept input properly. Currently, Auto-Type works for keys like TAB and ENTER, but not for alphanumeric characters — likely because 1Password uses SendInput or SendKeys.
I understand that SendEvent may be less secure, so perhaps this feature could be limited to specific window titles or processes, to avoid applying it system-wide.
I believe this would help many users who rely on remote desktops, legacy software, or emulators. Thank you for considering this!
Best regards,
Marcin
