FEATURE REQUEST: Be able to choose which categories are displayed in the left pane

I'd love to be able to choose which categories are shown on the left pane by default with perhaps a "show all..." as the final item which would temporarily reveal them all then either revert back to ...

just say you're not doing it and  hire an intern to clean up the feature request queue. this was 3 years ago and it has not had a response. I guess I will look at collections as a workflow

Thanks for the feedback. Just to clarify: only categories that actually have items associated with them in the current account or collection will show up in the sidebar. Can you tell me a little more about which categories you'd like to remove from the sidebar in the 1Password app even though you have items saved in those categories? I can pass your use case along to the team.
