Feature Request: Saved Password Hygiene
I've been using 1Password for many years now and have quite the collection of saved credentials (888, despite trying to keep them trim).
I'm regularly coming across URLs saved with account which don't work anymore, as the site has gone away, but are not aware until I try it. I was wondering if we could maybe, accompanying the Watchtower, have some kind of suite of hygiene tools as well. The most obvious being something that flags broken URLs. But, maybe, also something that flags up older accounts that haven't been accessed for a while. I know you can sort in that sequence but an option where you can define an age since last access and just show those for you to check (not just that they're live but, if you're not using them, whether you still need the account).
Lastly, I have some saved notes which I have a separate reminder to review every year. It would be nice to attach some kind of reminder to any saved information in 1Password to flag it to you after a set time.
Hello dartiss! 👋
Thank you for the feedback! A feature to detect broken websites would likely have to be built very carefully. If the 1Password app on your device directly connected to websites in order to check for things like broken links that could expose that you're using 1Password to those sites. That being said, I've filed a feature request on your behalf to have our team look into adding these sorts of features in the future.

You can do this by adding a date field with an expiry alert:
- Open and unlock 1Password.
- Edit the Secure Note in question.
- Click +add more and select Date.
- Choose the date that you wish.
- Click Set expiry alert and follow the prompts.
Going forward the item will be flagged in Watchtower when it expires: Check for expiring items-Dave

Thanks Dave.
Yeah, I'm really just looking for any way to help maintain the list. As you'll appreciate, hundreds or more of passwords stored can be unwieldy to manage and ensure they're all 100%. Any way of making the process easier of removal of redundant accounts, or whatever, would be appreciated.
Thanks for the tip about the notes - hadn't appreciated that and will do that.
