Feature Request: Unlock 1Password for Mac using PIN or hardware key

Please consider adding the ability to unlock 1password using some sort of PIN or a short alphanumeric password. It’s useful for devices without biometric authentication capabilities. In alternativ...

Thank you for the suggestions! We recently added PIN unlock to the mobile apps: Use your device passcode to unlock 1Password for iOS

While I can't promise anything, I've passed along your suggestion for the desktop app. In the meantime, you can create a strong yet easy to enter password using this guide: How to choose a good 1Password account password

In alternative, it would be useful to be able to unlock 1Password with hardware keys.
