    Hi Dave, thanks for your reply . It appears that I have just resolved the issue a few hours ago: I have uninstalled 1password and reinstalled again , and now fingerprint is working as it should. So it seems something was wrong when I transferred my settings from my old OnePlus to the Xiaomi . Thanks again .

Hi all,
I am also having the same problem on my new Xiaomi 15. The biometric login always fails, I always have to type in the password and each time I have to enter the 2FA code.
I have done multiple seqences of deleting the data, uninstall app, disable and remove all fingerprints, restart the phone, install 1Password, re-register fingerprints etc. No luck at all. For the time being I disabled 2FA. I did try 1P_Timothy​ method but no luck. Does anybody have a clue how to fix? Thanks for all the help.
