Fix v.8 search results?!?

I upgraded to v8 a little while ago and I totally agree with the other users, the search function is a huge step backwards and it should behave exactly like in v7 to be user friendly. @milesr example is on point.

I almost cannot believe, that now three months after the initial post, little progress has been made.
Also sadly no answer to @peet1 question why this change has been made in the first place.
At least you could have added an switch in the settings to enable the old search behavior.

Just to put some weight on how bad it actually is: If I'm still required to use CMD-OPT-F to have an search experience close to what v7 was in four weeks from now, I will dedicate one hour of my life to look for an alternative to 1PWD and cancel my subscription.

It is the biggest leap backward since I use 1Password.
