Form field fill doesn't work on the first time after unlocking on Chrome + Mac
When hitting the down arrow or the 1Password icon in a form field, I get prompted to unlock the 1Password app via touch ID or password. After unlocking the app via either of those methods, I get prompted with a list of saved passwords underneath the form
field. If I select a password, the form fields don't get filled at all. If I hit the down arrow again, I get prompted with the same list of saved passwords and then selecting one of these fills the form fields correctly.
This happens every time the 1Password app needs to be unlocked and it doesn't matter if you select the saved password via the keyboard or via the mouse. I have restarted the computer but it is still happening.
1Password Version: 8.9.8
Extension Version: 2.5.0
OS Version: macOS Ventura 13.0
Browser:_ Chrome 108.0.5359.94

It sounds like you might be running into a recent known issue which our developers have just published a fix for in the beta version of the browser extension.
Can you try the beta version and see if the behaviour improves: https://1password.com/downloads/mac/#beta-downloads

Hi @Joy_1P, I am also facing the same issue in autofill after unlock, using:
Chrome v 108.0.5359.94
1Password for Chrome v 2.5.0

Yes, this does happen every time I have to unlock the app but just for the first attempted password fill and then it works fine.
Support ID is [#FPZ-55727-565].

Hey jasonhill that is very strange. Does this happen for every login? Are you able to reproduce the behavior and send over the following so we can take a closer look at what may be going on:
