(Format using Mark down issue)

I created a password using the + top right corner by selecting the password item and then copied and pasted it into a secure note with other passwords are kept. Then I noticed the password I past...

If I did it that way I would forget where it was hidden.

A 1Password member says he can not highlight text in a secure note if (format using mark down) is enabled.
He says he has to tap edit to highlight and copy a secure note even though he is not making changes to the secure note.
If the secure note is already secure then I can not see why I have to tap edit to highlight and copy.
