General question about early release announcements

In the "1Password 8 for Mac Early Access" announcement https://1password.community/discussion/122136
Ben wrote: "Keep in mind this is an early access so it should be used for testing and validation purposes only and is not suitable for business critical environment."

Given that the most important aspect of 1P is the data in the vault, and that many/most people will be using the subscription version, is the implication that there is a risk to the integrity of data in the vault by being an early adopter?

Thank you, Andrew

    Hi @AndrewParker

While bugs are expected in beta software, we take strict and extensive measures to preserve the integrity of the underlying data. We have hundreds of people from our team alone that have been using 1Password 8 full-time for months. Many of us operate on the "nightly" channel, so that we can catch any of the more significant issues that could pop up before they go out to customers. While customers can also opt to be on this channel, the "beta" channel is the default, is more throughly vetted, and is what I would recommend for those not wanting to live "on the bleeding edge."

    I hope that helps!

    Ben
