Getting new mac, account migration

Hi there, Probably a daft question but I am getting a new mac very soon and was wondering how I migrant my 1password data to the new machine or do i just install on new machine and log into my accoun...

Hello @CJV! 👋

Great question! If you have a 1Password account then all that you need to do is install the 1Password app on your new Mac, add your 1Password account to the app, and all of your items will magically appear.

Just make sure that:

  1. You see all of your items when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app).
  2. You have a copy of your Emergency Kit since you'll need that to add your account to the new Mac.
