Google Chrome Extension issue (July 2025)
Hi there, My Google Chrome Extension won't autofill login info at websites, and when I click on the Extension "Pin" at the top of the screen, it crashes and gives this error message: "1password - P...
Follow up for me from comments above...
I wasn't able to open "Settings" in the extension menu to get to generate diagnostic report.
With help of support via a separate email, here's what worked for me to solve this:
Creating a fresh browser profile with no other extensions installed and install 1Password there and test if the behaviour occurs there to try to narrow down where the issue lies. Steps:
- Click on your profile in the top right hand corner of your browser
- Choose Add new profile > Continue without an account
- Install 1Password from browser extension "store"
- Test to see if extension works as expected.

That *did* work with 1PW extension working on the new profile.
Then, I went back into the main browser profile. Removed the 1PW extension. Added it back.
Not sure if what fixed it, but this is worth a shot.
