High background usage on iOS 26
Ever since I got my new iPhone 17 I'm seeing daily hours and hours of background activity from 1password, and it seems more people are suffering from the same issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/1Passwor...

Hello folks,
I wanted to share an update on the current status of the issue. After investigating the problem, and thank you to everyone who provided screenshots and diagnostics reports, our developers have implemented improvements to the idle timer process for the iOS AutoFill extension. We expect these changes will help reduce the battery usage some people have been experiencing, but further investigation will be needed after the improvements are fully rolled out to determine whether any additional work is required.
These improvements are currently being tested in the beta version of 1Password for iOS. I will update this thread once they are included in a future production release.
I am sorry again for the inconvenience, and I truly appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

I'm sorry that you're seeing unexpected battery usage when using 1Password on your iOS devices. Our team has received sporadic reports of this issue and we have an internal work item open to investigate this further.
For anyone running into the issue, please provide the following:
- A screenshot of the battery usage that you see.
- The version of iOS that you're using: Find the software version on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- The version of 1Password that you're using: Find the version numbers for 1Password and your operating system
- Your model of iPhone or iPad: Identify your iPhone model
I look forward to hearing from you.

iPhone Air, IOS 26.0.1, 1pw 8.11.14
Here I tested with Safari plugin disabled. But it was not consistent. Next day was higher again. I'll probably have to check this again:
