How do I exclude items in Obsolete folder from search?

I think a Collection might solve the problem for you.
☞ Use collections to create custom groups of vaults
Collections work a bit like the old "All Vaults" view in previous versions of 1Password, but you can have more than one collection if you like. Have a look at that, and let me know how things go. If you need any more help with this, then please do ask and we'll be able to sort things out. :)
