How do I turn on Password Generator on a Mac using Safari?

I’ve tried every idea to turn on Password Generator in 1 Password 8 on my Mac using Safari.I understand there is supposed to be a Key icon at the top right of the screen, but I don’t have it. Can someone please tell me how to do this?

    I finally figured out that I had to use 1Password Browser to get at the key which opened Password Generator. Possibly 1Password’s instructions could have been clearer. Thanks for asking.
