How do you add a jpg to a note?

On occasion I need to add a jpg, a screenshot or photo to a note. The fields for label options do not include these so an explanation of how to do this is appreciated. 1Password Version: v. 7 ...

Hello @Jody! 👋

Good question! As a first step, I recommend that you upgrade to 1Password 8 since 1Password 7 is no longer supported: Upgrade to 1Password 8 for Mac

Once upgraded, you can attach a photo to a Secure Note by following these steps:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password 8.
  2. Click on the Secure Note that you'd like to attach an item to, then click Edit.
  3. Click add more.
  4. Click Attach a File.
  5. Select the photo, click Open.
  6. Save the item.
