how replace/add search to home screen?
I like the idea of the new home screen, but hate the way it works.
In 1p7 I would open the app, tap in the search box and find what I want, now I have to tap on the search icon, clear any previous search that happens to be in there, then enter my search....for me that is a huge retrograde step.
Is there a way to put the search box at the top of the home screen or at least default to opening on the search page?

Yes please:
* Search field on the home tab, no extra taps to search.
* No pull down search, just always available at the top (or stuck to bottom)
* If the designers worry about aesthetics, make it a user setting to activate this, so power users can be fast.Thanks 1P_Tommy.
