4 years agoHi @shishini, thanks for your message.
The default browser cannot be changed within 1Password for Windows. 1Password uses the default browser as selected within Windows 10 and can be changed by following this support article from Microsoft: Change your default browser in Windows 10
When I clicked to install 1Password, I got an error message, that 1Password cannot install
Since I am using my work computer, and we have an additional admin account
I used install as Admin
1Password for Windows doesn't require any admin rights and installing 1Password "as Admin" can cause additional problems. Perhaps security software may have also played a roll with that error you were originally seeing.
If you are able to disable any security software temporarily (and rebooting), you could try uninstalling and reinstalling 1Password for Windows (not "as Admin") to test if the if the install completes: https://1password.com/downloads/windows/
After reenabling the security software you can exclude the 1Password.exe (or the entire 1Password directory) from scans. Installing 1Password from the .exe will install it to the App Data folder and the 1Password.exe lives here: %LOCALAPPDATA%\1Password\app\7
Let is know if you need anything further! :)
