How to LIMIT the number of password prompts in iOS?

Been using 1Password since version 1 when it was called 1passwrd. Version 8 is annoying, especially the iPad version. Version 8 is also MUCH slower to use than version 7 and before. Aren't up...

Tried again, did something different.

Tapped the 1Password lock icon in the username field. The standard list appeared with 1Password and KeyChain in the list.
Tapped 1Password in the list and it opened a new Startup Page window.

I'm Stumped.
