How to prevent 1password to offer storing password

I am using a Microsoft account for a couple of web services. But a lot of the time, f.e. when logging in to Atlassian's Confluence, 1password offers me to save the login. I don't want this and for some reason it is "linked" to Visualstudio.

So there is some flaky stuff going on and I would like to set on domainname the ability to totally skip "offering to save in 1Password". Is this possible?

Indeed, exactly my problem. I hope the 1password folks are reading along here? :D

Hi rogierl, OAW thanks for writing in!

If you don't want 1Password to appear on these pages at all, the easiest option might be to set "Hide on this page". You can do so by right clicking on the page, then selecting 1Password - Password Manager > Hide on this page. When you next visit the page, 1Password will not appear.

I will note that we are currently investigating a bug preventing the "Hide on this page" setting from working on a few specific webpages, though I don't believe the sites mentioned here are affected.

There are also a number of settings to adjust what 1Password offers to save, and how autofill suggestions are presented under Settings > Autofill & save in the extension settings. These will be browser wide though, and not per domain.

Let us know if any of those options work for you, and thanks again!

1P_Timothy Appreciate the feedback! But I'm not sure if I've communicated the issue clearly. In my case, I don't have an issue with 1P appearing on the page. I want to be able to use it to autofill my password in D365. The issue is after I successfully do that 1P is offering to save a login it already has. That makes no sense and it should be able to tell that the login already exists so there is no reason to offer to save it.

I am experiencing a similar issue. In my case, I am using Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. I use 1P8 to fill my password and then it turns around and asks me to save the very item it just filled. Every single time.
