How to search keywords in an 1password8 note?

I have a long txt security note in 1password.
I want to search some keywords and locate the right place in the note.
In 1password 7, I can click edit then search the keywords by mac native search function( command + F ). (BTW: can not use mac native search without click edit)

However, in 1password 8, the command + F search is always jumper to the 1password search bar whenever I click edit or not and the search result only points out the security note which contains the keywords.

Is anyone can give some bypass method for my case?

  • Hello @lcgogo! 👋

1Password 8 for Mac doesn't currently include the ability to search inside of Secure Notes. I can see how this would be a useful feature and I've passed along your request to bring this feature to 1Password 8 to our Product team.

In the meantime, you can split your note into multiple smaller notes which may help you find the information that you're looking for faster.

    Thank you for the feedback!
