Thanks for the reply. Here's a table that I made that might help:

1Password with iOS AutoFill 1Password for Safari on iOS
Fill/save logins in Safari ✅ ✅
Fill/save logins in third-party browsers (Chrome/Firefox/Edge/DuckDuckGo/etc..) ✅ ❌
Fill/save logins in other iOS apps ✅ ❌
Appears as a suggestion/prompt above the iOS onscreen keyboard ✅ ❌
Appears as a suggestion/prompt beneath the username/password field right on the webpage ❌ ✅
Supports biometric unlock (Face ID/Touch ID) ✅ ✅
Can save/fill credit cards and addresses ❌ ✅
Supports masked email aliases (Fastmail) ❌ ✅
Supports http://Privacy.com integration ❌ ✅
Supports filling one-time passwords for two-factor authentication ❌ ✅
Supports saving and signing in with passkeys ✅ ❌

You can certainly use AutoFill exclusively if you wish, lots of people do. Let me know know if you have other questions. 🙂
