Legacy tablets and phones

How is 1P supposed to work on legacy devices. My windows PC seems to work fine but All my android devices (3 tablets - android 7.1) and 1 moto phone (v8.1.0). The app store says app won't work so there is no way to download it. I thought in light of LastPass breaches you would have this working better.

Do I need to stay with LastPass so I have password protection?
