limiting search
I don't see how you limit a search to just the Personal vault. There must be a way, but I can't find it. I'm using 1Password for Mac 8.10.64 (81064007)

Select Personal in the sidebar and press Command F or add this string prior to your search `=vault:Employee` for the Employee vault. Substitute Employee for the name of your vault either Personal or Private.

that is very cumbersome...why not a drop down to select all or a single vault? otherwise, I see duplicate results if an item is in more than one vault

1 year agoIf you see items in more than one vault it sounds as if the search string if not right. Make sure you selected the appropriate vault in the sidebar.

I agree with horatio888. The Command-F method works, but is cumbersome. Selecting the appropriate vault does nothing (at least in 1Password for Mac 8.10.64 (81064007)). A search still returns items from all vaults.

You can also limit the search to just a particular vault (or group of vaults) by using collections: Use collections to create custom groups of vaults

Okay, that method seems to work. I don't understand why there is an extra layer of complexity, instead of being able to pick a vault directly when searching, but maybe that's because I'm an individual user and not a company.
