Linux Desktop App not syncing

I am currently using the desktop Linux applications 8.10.56 (81056028, on PRODUCTION channel) and it is not syncing with:

Brave browser app
Windows desktop app I use inside of a QEMU/KVM virtual machine on my Linux OS
Brave browser on the same virtual machine.
Android app
All of the above (except Linus desktop app are syncing without problems or any noticeable delays.

It makes no difference WHERE I add a password, secure message, etc., it will not sync with the Linux desktop app.

Passwords, secure messages, etc created on the Linux desktop app will not sync to any of the other above listed applications.

Any help to make sense of what is going on here is appreciated.

1Password Version: 8.10.56
Extension Version: 8.10.56.28
OS Version: Linux (Nobara 41) ((which is Fedora 41))
Browser: Brave

Your support ticket ID is TIA-93971-896.

Thank you for looking at this for me. This Support ID number is for the Linux app only. I sent another email with the report for both the Linux App and the Brave browser on the machine but I never got the second support ID.

Thank you for the reply. So that I can investigate further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Linux PC:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (Linux)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    With your email please include:

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  Please post that number here.  Thanks very much!

    Thanks for the reply.

I am positive that I am not blocking any of the domains. I disabled my generic Linux firewall on my computer for a day. I also added the mentioned domains to my network firewall whitelist. I have even gone so far as to physically bypass my router and hooked my computer directly to the internet modem. These are not being blocked.

I still do not see my items created in my Linux desktop app at 1password.com or on any of the applications after locking and unlocking my Linux desktop app with the above measures, no firewall, etc.

  • Hello MSPMP! 👋

I'm sorry that you're not seeing items being updates to or from the 1Password for Linux desktop app. As a first step, can you make sure that you're not blocking any of 1Password's required ports and domains either on your desktop or your network: 1Password ports and domains

If you manually lock and then unlock 1Password for Linux, do you see the items that you created using the desktop app when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?
