Login causes new tab to open every second

Ran into a very weird issue. Tried logging into the extension on Firefox, and it just kept opening new login tabs in the browser every second. I closed the browser and opened it again and it immediately started again. I manged to fix it by uninstalling the extension and reinstalling. Worked fine for a while and then happened once again.
Anyone run into this issue before?

1Password Version: 8.7.2
Extension Version: 2.3.5
OS Version: Windows 10

    I just ran into this issue too, on Safari for MacOS 12.4. It made the extension completely unusable. I just switched from LastPass today, not a great first day experience 😒
