Mac app went away
I fixed this by just downloading the latest, so I'm just reporting this as a glitch: sometime in the last day or two my 1Password Mac app just disappeared.... from Applications folder, toolbar and a...

Hello davidbeav4657! 👋
I'm sorry that 1Password disappeared on your Mac. Sometimes it's possible for macOS to move files and apps during an update: If a Relocated Items folder appears on your Mac after upgrading macOS - Apple Support
Even if the 1Password app disappears from your Mac all of your items are still safely backed up to your 1Password account and will be downloaded to your Mac when you install the app and sign in again.
If you do see the issue again then please let me know.-Dave

Just to say, the same thing happened here overnight (2025-02-12 to 2025-02-13) on a Mac running Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70). Using 1P in two Mac user accounts, one Personal, on Personal & Business. Scary moment this morning!

I manage my father's mac book air (15.3) and I just noticed the same thing. I have no idea when it happened. 1P was removed from Applications, menu, etc and appears in Relocated Items/Incompatible.
While this may be an "Apple Issue", clearly it is widely affecting many people in the 1Password community and cant be considered uniquely occurring due to specific device setup in my opinion.

I'm sorry that macOS moved the 1Password app into the "Relocated Items/Incompatible" folder on your father's Mac. Since this action was performed by macOS on his device, I recommend reaching out to Apple Support so that they can investigate why this occurred:
Aside from this article from Apple, this behaviour doesn't seem to be documented anywhere and the team and I haven't been able to reproduce it. Because of this, Apple's support team will be in the best position to investigate what might have occurred on your father's Mac further.-Dave

On my iMac, running 15.5 currently, it has happened multiple times (i.e. MacOS moving my 1Password app to the incompatible folder). I am not running any third party anti-virus software and the app is installed in the Applications folder. I will try Apple Support if this keeps happening, but I wanted to add my voice to the discussion, because it apparently isn't that unique.
