I did, but it wasn't a seamless replacement for the native experience.
Why is it necessary to use accessibility and a universal autofill extension, instead of the platform autocomplete extensions, i.e. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/entitlements/com.apple.developer.authentication-services.autofill-credential-provider ?

Thanks for the reply. 1Password doesn't currently support macOS AutoFill and I've filed a feature request with our product team on your behalf so that they're aware that you'd like to see this feature be supported in the future.
Universal Autofill uses 1Password's own filling brain to detect and fill logins, are you able to tell me where it didn't work smoothly for you? I'd be happy to pass this feedback along to our development team.

It was more a matter of common UX and styling. I was hoping switching from Apple Passwords to 1Password wouldn't require learning new UX for actually filling passwords.

Thank you for the feedback, I've shared your comment with the team. For the time being, Universal Autofill will fill your login credentials into any website or app when you press Command-Backslash on your keyboard.
