macOS: Autoselect unlock with fingerprint

Hi!

I use the fingerprint sensor of my MacBook to unlock 1Password. In previous versions the fingerprint option was directly selected when I launch 1P. Now, the password-field is active and I have to click on the fingerprint symbol before I can use the sensor.

Not a big deal, just an extra click. Can it be avoided though?

Julius

  • Hello JuliusH! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm sorry that you're not being prompted to use Touch ID to unlock 1Password. Can you please restart your Mac and then try these steps:

    1. Right-click on the 1Password icon in the menubar.
    2. Click Open 1Password.

Are you automatically prompted for Touch ID? I look forward to hearing from you.

  • I'm happy to hear that Touch ID is working again. If the issue does come back then let us know and we can help further. ๐Ÿ™‚
