macOS Sequoia 15.5 passkeys not working or saving

I've through as many articles as I could find on how to save passkeys in 1password on MacOS, but so far have not been able to get it to work at all. Works fine on my IOS devices, but MacOS just does not seem to work using the steps in the articles. It keeps coming back to the following screen.

I have yet to find a way for it to be stored in 1password. Any suggestions?

Doesn't work for me neither. I've tried on webauthn.io. I can register a passkey, but not use it.

    macOS 26.2
I tried on Brave, Chrome, Firefox and safari

Thanks for reaching out! It looks like you're seeing a macOS prompt for passkeys which can indicate that 1Password isn't properly setup. As a first step, make sure that 1Password is installed in your browser:

Then make sure that the built-in password manager is turned off: Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser

If that still doesn't work then can you tell me which browser and website you're running into the issue on? And do you see the same issue when trying to save a passkey on this test website: https://webauthn.io/
