Need to get back to last password

Hi, I updated the username and password, but I'd like to get back to the last ones, is there a way to find them? Or once it's been updated that it, the old ones are gone?

Thanks.

1P_PeterG i really dont wanna tell you guys how to do your business, but do you have a professional and experienced usability expert on the team? An integration like this shows that this was done by developers without usability experience. Hiding things behind menus and inconsistency in design / usability like shown in your screencapture is first year usabiity training content. or what not to do.

Hi @SoCalSurf, thanks for your reply. Here's a few tips on how you can retrieve previous passwords. 😃

In 1Password 7 for Mac, you can find an item's password history by selecting an item from the list, and then in the right pane choosing the downward-pointing arrow in the password field, then View Password History. It looks something like this. 👇

It's important to note that this will only work if the item actually has an older password associated with it. If the item has only ever had a single password (the current one), then the View Password History option will not appear, as there is no password history to show.

I hope this is helpful - let me know if you're able to get the information you need or if we can further assist!

Hi, appreciate the quick response, but I do NOT see a button that says, "View Item History". Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but don't see it.
