Never Ending Search Problems - Why fix what wasn't broken?

Hello.

I hate to be cranky pants - yet again - but each iteration of 1Password 8 seems to be a disaster for searching within the app. I use the categories and tags, but I also like to add things like "Email - " or "Mom - " , etc. So when I go to search and I type in Email - without the quotes I want to ONLY see my email addresses when I click Email - at the bottom of the search results. However, the latest version of 1Password 8 breaks this and literally shows me over a 100 results now that I don't want to see. So I tried surrounding the search criteria with double quotes and the same bad result happened. I really wish y'all would get your act together and make search great again. Right now it sucks...next up a complaint about the iOS app refusing to open search results after they are displayed on another forum here.

Please fix searching and/or add a feature that will display ONLY what I'm actually looking for with or without the double quotes.

    Hello dwmreg! 👋

    I'm sorry that you're running into issues with search. Can you try using the Find tool instead:

    1. Open and unlock 1Password 8.
    2. Press Option-Command-F on your keyboard.
    3. Type in your search term into the Find field (not the Search field).

    Does that give you better results? 🙂
