New item login field already populated

I'm happy to share that, with the latest update to the stable version of 1Password (8.10.78), our team has added a setting to turn off the prefilling of usernames when creating new items in the app:

ModeratorThe team is currently testing having 1Password suggest the email address in your default identity if one is set. This change is currently available in the nightly version of 1Password and will be released to the stable version as soon as possible.

Good to know you’re responding to our concerns. However, it still doesn’t sound like this change would make this autofill behavior optional. And thus would not solve anything for me, since I use different email addresses for almost all logins. I hope you’ll reconsider and give us the choice whether we want to use this autofill at all. Would make everyone happy.
