New sign-in alerts and welcome page appearing with 1Password for Safari (Safari version 18.3 beta)

HRD – We're talking to Apple about how is best to tackle this, so the timeline isn't fully under our control right now. We're also developing our own workarounds for this. There's been some progress made there but as most folks on our teams have been away for the end-of-year holidays, things haven't been as full-throttle as they might be at other times of the year.

Long story short, we're aiming to get something in place to mitigate this as soon as possible, ideally before iOS 18.3 and macOS 15.3 become the normal public release version and this problem affects more customers beyond beta users. Sadly, with bugs that have their point of origin outside our code, it isn't always a straightforward affair to fix things, but we're working as quickly as we can and with as much help as we can get from Apple to sort this out. In the meantime, turning off the Safari extension should help stop the regular emails.
