No longer able to access 1Password Passkey Beta

I am a user of 1Password personal for my personal passwords and it works fine. -- I created a new BETA account to test passkey access in 1 password, and I was using it to store my company related data. I created a passkey with my iphone and I was able to access my account with no issue.  I also created a recovery code that I saved on my personal account and it worked fine. Until yesterday.

When I tried to access my account with my passkey as I would normally do it, I get a prompt in my phone saying "Unable to use passkey. This passkey could not be used to sign in" . No more information. when I cancel I get "Some

I try to access my accouint from my iphone and I get a different error: "Unable to use passkey. This passkey could not be used to sign in"  

I am wondering if I made a mistake and stored the account passkey inside the very same account.... then I am "locked outside, with the key inside the house kind of siotuation..." 

The other issue I am having is that the recovery code I have for that account did not work... I tried to tesst it as soon as I created it but it asked me to try later which I forgot to do .... -- in my mind there should be a way of testing it right away.

    I did have it on my iphone, but it didn't work, so I had to delete my account... I decided better to keep my account and use a separate valut for those passwords.  I'm stuck with password authentication until I am able to use passcode and password associated to the same account.

    Yes, this could be an issue. Did you also save the passkey to iOS?

    The recovery code is verified as part of the creation process or the system would not be able to create one for you. That said, I can see why you would find this appealing. I've filed a feature request on your behalf. Also, please note the try again message is expected if you recently accessed 1Password from one of your devices.
