Not being prompted for passkey on Amazon in Firefox

Yeah none of this worked for me, and I don't use keepass at all.  I went to amazon.com. I can see the 1password passkey in my amazon cred in 1p.  I can see in Amazon that I have a passkey called 1password set up on the exact same date and time listed in 1p.  When I go to login to Amazon on Firefox on mac, the mac window pops up asking if i want to use iphone, ipad, android or security key (like the original screenshot in here).  I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it.

And yes, of course I have 1p as the default for passwords in FF.

And I have the desktop app installed.

P.S. Did you close down 1p community accounts.  I had one that I set up 6 years ago - creds were def in my 1p, and the account doesnt exist according to your system, so i registered for a new account using the same username,  very very odd (and worrisome)

I'm sorry for missing your post and for the passkey trouble that you're running into, I've split it into a new thread since the other thread hasn't been active in some time.

Since your post, we're released a new version of 1Password for Firefox (8.12.22.17), can you confirm that you're still running into the issue with this new version? If you are then can you tell me the following:

    1. Did you save the passkey for sign-in? Or as a second factor for your Amazon account that you're using after you enter your password?
    2. Does the passkey work on amazon.com in another browser like Chrome?

At the beginning of 2025, we migrated to a new community platform. As part of that transition, accounts that hadn’t been active in the previous year weren’t migrated. That’s likely why you couldn’t sign in or reset your password, the account likely wasn’t carried over to the new system. I'm sorry for the confusion.

It's been a month - nothing?   Guess I should email support, as I am a paying customer personally and business - just figured someone from 1p would actually reply here and others could also get help. :(. Pretty disappointed.  You all used ot be much much better at replying
