Notes removes characters when I save

When I edit a Secure Note and type a typical password such as Wordone$Wordtwo$Wordthree and then save, what is showing as the result is Wordone Wordtwo Wordthree It corrects the incorrect spelling and grammar. How do I override this?

Hi seattlerust! Was the information provided by Ekalb (thanks for the assist!) helpful here, or are you still running into trouble?

The solution to your problem is may be here: https://support.1password.com/markdown/
Especially: To use a character that would otherwise be interpreted as Markdown formatting, precede it with a backslash (). For example, _hello_ becomes hello, not hello._

In the Manage your settings part you will see how you can disable Markdown, if you wish.
