I'm sorry that you're seeing an unexpected offline warning. Can you tell me if you see an offline items button in the sidebar? If you do then please follow the steps in this guide:
If you don't see an offline items button in the sidebar of the app then can you post a screenshot of the message that you do see?

The button appears, and when I click it, there are no items in the list. This error is a mystery.

I hope the problem is resolved, because this error message also appears every time I add a new entry, which is very annoying.
It doesn't happen on another PC, so the problem is only local. Perhaps there's a file conflict.
Alternatively, I could try a more thorough uninstallation of the desktop app. If you can tell me how, I haven't been able to completely uninstall it so far. Maybe there are some files I need to manually delete. Then i try reinstalling it again.
