4 years agoon the new 1Password for Mac 8.7.1 I am unable to select a vault and see categories at one time
on the new 1Password for Mac 8.7.1 I am unable to select a vault and see categories at one time as I did beforehand. Also I cannot search all fields anymore

Hey @maxbulwa:
Thanks so much for the feedback. You can create a collection containing only a specific vault. From there, you can select a category under the collection.

thanks for responding...unfortunately this doesn't help the cause. ALready had that done. In all prior versions, I can select a vault and then categories β that's gone. I Used to be able to search t portion of a record in search all β that doesn't work anymore. Please bring it back.

Hey @maxbulwa:
Can you check to see if you have the following setting selected?
- Open and unlock the 1Password 8 for Mac app.
- From the menu bar, select 1Password > Preferences > Appearance.
- Under the heading "Always Show in Sidebar", select Categories.
You can also view the categories with the dropdown menu as shown here:
In regard to searching all fields, if you enter your search query in the search bar, select "Show all matching items" to return a list of items containing the string.
