OTP not working

OTPs fail consistently sporadily. Feels like me time may be incorrect, but it isn't. I travel a bit, so maybe the system is confused. But how? Where?

I checked the time before writing here.

    I use the app keyboard, I guess that's copy/paste.

    This one.

Thanks for the reply. Are you still able to reproduce the issue after verifying that the time is correct? If so then can you tell me a little more so that I can better understand the situation:

    1. Are you copying and pasting the one-time password from the main 1Password app? Or are you entering it some other way?
    2. Have you seen the issue with multiple apps/websites? Or just one? Are you able to provide an example of the app you're having trouble with?

    Thank you, 1P_Dave ,

What can I do if the time is correct? Is this an issue for 1Password, for iOS, or for the app that is asking for the OTP?

I'm sorry that you're running into issues signing into certain websites when using 1Password as an authenticator app for two-factor authentication. It’s important that your device’s time isn’t more than 30 seconds off. The authentication code changes every 30 seconds, so if your device is more than 30 seconds off, you’ll see an incorrect code.

The next time that you run into the issue, visit this website on each of your devices and make sure the time matches:

    https://time.is

If the date and time on a device doesn’t match, you can adjust it:

Let me know how that goes.
