Passkeys, so many clicks
I was under the impression that a biometric sign-in (desktop - fingerprint) would immediately be available. Instead there's more clicks than it's worth. I'd be better off just entering the password...

Welcome to the community! When and how Google will ask for a passkey depends on how their developers designed the sign-in process. One option that might help is to enable the "Skip password when possible" setting for your Google account. You should be able to find it here:
- Sign in to your Google account and open account settings.
- Select Security & sign-in.
- Under "How you sign in to Google," turn on Skip password when possible.
On my end, I'm prompted for my passkey right away and I don't see the password option unless I clikc "Try another way". I hope that helps.

Thanks, those are the settings I have.
Maybe because it's a googleWorkspace it's different.
I just tried with a rarely used personal email account it seems easier.
