ModeratorYou can change the password generator settings in the 1Password app when generating a password and they'll stay the same the next time that you generate a password: Use the password generator to change and strengthen your passwords
You'll need to set this individually in the 1Password app on all of your devices.
When using 1Password in the browser, you can set your default settings by following these steps:
- Open your browser.
- Click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
- Click on the menu icon, then click Password Generator.
- Choose "Random Password" as the type. Configure the other options as needed.
- Make sure to turn on "Use as default for suggestions".
Going forward, 1Password will generate a password according to this recipe right on the page:
