Password history does not show in the browser

Steps to see:
In the Edge browser, click the 1Password extension.
On the Password line, on the right-hand side, you will see "Copy" and a downward pointing chevron.
The attached picture shows the result.
Official documentation says it should also show "Password History."
I need to see that.

Why?
Sometimes when I change passwords for a website, 1Password saves the new, suggested password, then the website rejects it.
The result: I'm stuck, and have to go through all the "forgot password" steps to regain access.
