PHONE to computer NO secret key

i have 1password on my iphone. i installed it on my mac computer, and then i ONLY Needed to enter my password NOT my secret key. I thought that anyone who had my password could not get in without m...

Hi there pathfinder76

We use iCloud Keychain to store a form of your Emergency Kit so that if you're signed in to the same Apple ID on each device, then yes, you'll only have to enter your 1Password account password to sign in.

You should always keep a copy of your Emergency Kit somewhere safe outside your Apple ID as well, just in case you couldn't access your Apple ID for some reason.
