Pixel 10 issues
A new Pixel means new ways for Google to break things. Just wanted to see if anyone else can confirm and possibly make the 1Password team aware if they aren't already: Autofill within the app versi...

5 months agoHi PLD99! Thanks for letting us know about the behaviour you're seeing on your Pixel 10.
On your first point, I tested a couple in-app browsers and didn't see an issue. Typically I'd recommend opening the page up in Chrome rather than staying in the app (from the in-app browser you can tap ⋮ > Open in Chrome), but I understand that can be disruptive. Do you recall which app you encountered this in?
Hi GolferWHH! Thanks for weighing in here as well. Let us know how it goes recreating the passkey. This is not something I recall seeing myself, so we'll definitely want to be on the look out for any issues as folks get set up with the new 10's.
Thanks both!

I've been able to get access to my Google Accont's "Sensitive Information" (Security section) from my Windows PC and from my Pixel 10. I'll be honest I'm not sure what the source of the problem was. But as best as I can recall this is what I did.
First I have 2-Step Verication on for my Google Account.
If I tried to access any element of the Security section on my Windows PC, it would try and "Authenticate" on the Pixel 10. Then all sorts of crap happened and I could not Authenticate.
I interacted with Google Help who were next to useless, or at least we were never able to speak the same language as they kept referring me to how to "recover you account" and I could never get anything but suggestions to review Google Help articals on account recovery.
In web searches I found a video on adding Google authenticator as a way to achieve 2-step authentication. I was able to do so, but ended up adding a second entry for my Google Account. At least it allowed me into my security section of my Account.
Then I deleted a Passkey associated with my Google Account in 1Password. I logged into my Google account on Windows and added a Passkey.
All of a sudden, when I access Security section of my Google Account from Windows I get a Google Popup "Verifying it's you" with the option to signin with a Passkey. A 1Password popup shows with "signin with PassKey". I think this then starts Google's 2-Step authentication, and I get a Google Play Store (??) message on my Pixel 10, I select "Yes it is me trying this" and I get a 3 numbers on the Pixel 10 that match the code displayed on the WIndows PC.
I must confess this whole 2-step authentication stuff from Google is a real pain, and I ran full speed into the snake pit with a new Pixel 10. All seems to be working, so I'll not poke the bear any more.
Passkeys with 1Password seem to work relatively well. Adding 2-FA just adds a layer that can confuse and confound.
Like a mushroom farm "Keep them in the dark and feed them ........"
Sorry for any confusion I've added to this.
