Are you going to add print option back on to rev 8, if not, I need to start looking for another provider that doesn't think me smart enough to safeguard my own business.

Thank you, I've passed along your feedback to our product team. 🙂
My recommendation is that you download and save your Emergency Kit. Print out the Emergency Kit and write down your account password. Then store the Emergency Kit in your safe. Using the Emergency Kit your family will be able to sign-in to your 1Password account and they'll have access to the latest version of your items.

I have just updated to version 8, and wanted to print a hardcopy of all my passwords and other items as I have done regularly since I started using 1Password almost ten years ago. This hardcopy is part of my emergency documents which are stored in a physical safe.
Why do - or did - I do this, when there are several secure ways to access this data even in loss of all my devices? I want to make sure that members of my family who get access to my safe in case I'm unable to act myself (disease, injury, ... death) will have a simple way to deal with my data.
I understand that this feature request - or last wish - has already been passed on to the product team, but I wanted to emphasize the importance this has to me, too. (And, truth be told, it's not a big deal technically.)
Thanks & best regards, daniel.

Thank you for the additional details, I've passed them along to the product team as well so that they better understand how you would use a print feature if one was built in the future.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Right now, my mom is using Window 11’s native password manager to fill in web passwords. This works most of the time since she doesn’t have to do anything. If windows doesn’t autofill the fields, she will either type in the password from the printed list or have me remote into her computer to help her.
The 1PW desktop app is way too complicated for her. The browser extension might work and would probably be more secure, but she doesn’t like changes at her age.
Anyway, I keep track of those pws using a separate vault on my 1PW account and would love an easy way to print out a hardcopy.

Thank you for the feedback, I've passed it along to the team.
Have you considered installing 1Password in the browser (not the app) on your mom's PC so that 1Password fills your mom's logins right on the webpage: Get to know 1Password in your browser. She would just need to click on the suggestion below the username/password field which might be even easier than typing in a password from a printed list:

Another request for being able to print from MacOS. I manage my 93 year old mom's passwords - she is not able to run 1PW (level of computer skills) so she often relies on a paper copy when her Win11 box doesn't autofill.

I switched to 1Password recently from LastPass premium. I was a LastPass premium member for 9 years and one of the features I liked was the ability to print a hard copy of my user names and passwords. I won't go into a dissertation about why I think it's a good feature but I will say that I think it should be left up to the paying user whether they have the ability to print a hard copy of their data. I hope you make this feature available.

Dave--thanks so much for the thoughtful and detailed reply! It certainly addresses many of the points I raised. Obviously the issues are more personal and emotional about one's digital life--final comment is that I really, truly appreciate 1Password and all the work the team there puts into the product and customer engagement! Best, Timothy
